Using the word “bars” when it comes to Las Vegas nightlife is almost misleading. Many of the more relaxed nightlife spots in town don’t even use the word bar, they often title themselves as “ultra-lounges." However, if you are looking for a more casual experience, we’ve got that too. When it comes to sports bars, the mother of all sports bars is the ESPN Zone at New York New York. This multi-level complex offers theater quality seating for watching the big game as well as a full bar of sports themed drinks. The ESPN Zone is also a full-service restaurant with an arcade for the kids (or the adults).
If you’re looking for something a little bit more adult, check out Coyote Ugly at New York New York. This bar is laid-back and tons of fun. Jeans and cowboy hats are more than accepted, they’re welcomed. Step up to the bar and watch the “coyotes” dance on the bar as they pour shots into the mouths of unsuspecting patrons. This bar has a fun theme and a friendly atmosphere. Not to mention, some of the prettiest cowgirls in town. This bar can get a little rowdy though, so make sure you are up for the challenge.
If you’re looking for a more upscale atmosphere, Mist at Treasure Island is upscale yet relaxed with comfortable leather seating and a masculine atmosphere. This bar is perfect for drinks with a business client or just catching up with an old friend. They also offer TV screens for watching sporting events. Mist is the best place to come to grab a few drinks before a show or a night out. The bar is quiet and relaxing, perfect for unwinding with a nightcap.
If you like Irish pubs, you’ll love Nine Fine Irishmen at New York New York. This pub has a traditional Irish feel with plenty of beer on tap and classic Irish food to go along with it. Live performers dance and play instruments nightly. The friendly atmosphere and casual setting are perfect for gathering with friends for a fun night out.
